Create radiology reports quickly

Creating radiology reports rapidly is at the heart of VoxReports.

A radiologist selects an order directly on the RIS/PACS or from the VoxReports order window when VoxReports is used in a standalone environment. The radiologist can select with either a speech command or directly on the PACS.

Once an image is interpreted, the radiologist uses speech commands and dictation to create the report. Our patented SmartMacros™ technology makes report writing easier, faster and more accurate.

After review, the radiologist electronically signs the report or sends it for third-party editing or resident review. After a report is edited and signed it is automatically sent back to the RIS, PACS or EMR and/or faxed or e-mailed to the referring physician.

For radiologists who prefer a hand microphone, we use a Philips® USB-connected, speech recognition hand microphone with single-action push buttons and mouse control. All of our microphone options are designed specifically for high performance report generation.

Single-command Deferral and Draft capabilities

VoxReports features “single command” deferral to transcription — by voice or by click — resulting in a more efficient workflow. The provider’s individual voice model travels with the deferred report so that any edits by transcriptionists are incorporated into the voice model, improving overall speech recognition performance. Unlike other systems, VoxReports also allows reports to be “saved as a draft”, again with only a single voice command or click.
